Mount Saint Elias glows in the soft after dusk alpenglow of the winter sky. Icy Bay in the foreground is littered with scattered icebergs, remnants from the many glaciers in the area.
Sometimes landscape photography gets better as the light wanes. The subtle glow, or afterglow, of the light is often more beautiful than the super dramatic peak of the alpenglow/sunset, etc.
I’d LOVE to have the opportunity to shoot this place again and again.
